Keir Starmer sets out Labour’s Plan for Change

The Prime Minister has recently set out his Labour government’s plan to bring about change in this country and turn the page on 14 years of Tory chaos.

The plan sets clear and measurable milestones to:

  • Raise living standards, so you have more money in your pocket
  • Build 1.5 million homes, so there are decent, affordable homes in your area
  • End hospital backlogs to meet the NHS standard of 92% of elective treatments within 18 weeks
  • Put more police on the beat, so you feel safer in your community
  • Give children the best start in life, so that every child has the opportunity to succeed
  • Secure home-grown energy, so billpayers are protected

The PM also reiterated that Labour have come into government facing unprecedented challenges, with public services in disarray and a £22 billion black hole in the economy; Labour’s immediate focus has to be fixing the foundations of our country to deliver change.
