PSPO Signed off… finally

The Moseley & Kings Heath PSPO has been signed off today!

Discussions to renew the Public Space Protection Order have been ongoing for some time and in 2022 discussions took place at the South East Local Partnership Delivery Group (LPDG) identifying several problem locations within Moseley, Brandwood & Kings Heath wards. Initial discussions with partners concluded that one PSPO area would be proposed that covered locations across two neighbourhood policing constituency areas and two wards.

After what has been a long drawn out process, the Moseley & Kings Heath PSPO has been signed off today and once signage is in place it will be activated and used to help prevent and tackle ASB in the area of the map shown. The order includes anti social street drinking, drug use and graffiti.

Details and consultation information can be found here.

Big thanks to Nicky Brennan, Cabinet Member for Equalities and Social Cohesion for finally getting this over the line.
